2008 "Hot" Lunch

Once again we are offering our outstanding “hot” lunch program.  Mondays and Thursdays will be Pizza Hut days, plain or pepperoni.  Wednesdays we’ll feature Quiznos sandwiches (your choice of turkey, roast beef or ham – served plain, condiments on the side).  Lunch Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays is included in the tuition.

And the overwhelming culinary highlight of last summer – our barbecue – will be back and bigger than ever.  Tuesdays we’ll be whipping up our popular chicken nuggets.  Fridays we’ll again sate our campers with our killer (and kosher) hot dogs and hamburgers.  (Veggie burgers by special request).  For Barbecue Tuesdays and Fridays we ask a $5 cover.

QUESTIONS:

Can I take advantage of the program some days and bring from home on others?
By all means. That’s why we have you select specific days on our menu.

What if my child changes his mind on his way to camp and wants a hot Lunch that day?
No problem.  Let us know when you arrive and we can tailor our head count. 
Are the hot dogs kosher?
Yes.

In the past you’ve offered peanut butter and jelly for campers who didn't like what they ordered (or for those who forgot their lunch). Do you still do that?
We don't. In this age of rampant nut allergies we have banished any hint of peanut butter from the premises (okay, maybe Coach Christian has a secret stash but he's not telling where it is…).

Does lunch come with a drink?

We're big believers in water consumption and we encourage our campers to drink plenty of it during the day. If you want your child to have something else to imbibe, pack it…
